We all know how important PPE is to enable you to do a job safely & well. There are specialists in the field that help us prepare our workers to ensure that we fulfill our obligations as an employer.

The Hull office move was finally completed last week and the staff are all in residence and very happy in their new home.

 With the offices being a blank canvas we have taken the opportunity to create a new brand image, which we will be copying in the Head Office in York very soon.

 The bright green statement wall creates a lively, bright entrance to the offices - which we carried on into the tired kitchen to give it a new lease of life.

 The general office looks clean and welcoming with white walls and the "Mynt logo" stripes on all the walls around the room.

Candidates have a separate area in which to complete their application forms and where they can be interviewed, plus a seating area for visitors with an informal atmosphere.

 There is a newly created conference room to provide privacy for meetings or for training.

 All in all we are really pleased with the overall effect and look forward to inviting people to the official opening in the near future..

PS: the last picture is our new neighbours who we spotted on the flat roof which adjoins our office, hopefully they weren't just passing through!

Work is well underway on the new Hull Office, moving in date 7th May. The painting is finished (thanks to all the staff who gave up a Saturday to help - payment in drinks & sausage rolls!) We've gone for a statement wall in a lovely bright "wake me up" green on 2 walls, with the rest white.

As you can see from the photographs, the artwork done by Wetherby Screen Print looks fabulous on the windows and can be seen clearly from outside even though we are third floor. It also fits with the other 2 companies in the building.

This week we just have the stripes on the white walls to finish, carpets to clean & the signage to finish.

The staff can't wait to move - even though there is some furniture removals involved!

It really does look amazing and we look forward to welcoming all clients & employees, existing & new, into our new modern, smart offices - so call in & see us at,

Mynt Recruitment Congratulates Hull on being named "City of Culture 2017"

Announced today 20th November, Hull beat Dundee, Swansea & Leicester and will take over from current city of culture,  Londonderry.

City of Culture, although it does not come with direct Government funding, has brought success and growth to every City it has been awarded to. There are hopes that this could mean around £60 million of investment to Hull and boost it's ongoing economic future.

Hull's theme in it's bid to win City of Culture was "a City coming out of the shadows" this was commended by writer/producer Phil Redmond as the most compelling and gained a unanimous vote from the selection committee.  Lets hope "a city coming out of the shadows" is the case and the accolade helps Hull just as it has helped other cities.

Famous already for the Humber bridge, Poet Phillip Larkin, actress Maureen Lipman,  bands such as The House Martins and, well actually that's the only one I can find....... apart from one hit wonder Lene Lovich, a politician we won't mention, the splendour of "the Deep", Art galleries and theatres, Hull's tourism and hospitality trades particularly should get a well deserved boost, as well as the long term investment opportunities..
